The work submitted this semester highlighted a range of emotions. Feelings of grief, uncertainty, confusion. Questions of identity and belonging. Given the current circumstances, we are all struggling with these complexities right now. But within that, there is hope. The works submitted paint portraits of humanity. They show resilience, beauty, and love. They celebrate connection.  These works encapsulate the strength of our community and show a student body ready to overcome. We could not be more proud to display this hope in our Fall 2020 edition.

Thank you for such an amazing turnout. This was a record-setting year in terms of participation and work submitted. Also, thank you for the breadth of art submitted. We are proud to have such a diverse array of artists represented on Opus’s pages. Even in such hard times it has been amazing to see our small community expand. We would like to thank all of our staff for being patient and helpful during this period. We can’t wait for another semester together.
