One glorious day

ein kleines wanderung

took my wandering mind

through the unbound forest

where I was buried in the green

dresses of its ancient sentinels

that rustled to me gently,

Alles ist jetzt ganz ruhig

Mein kleines Kind.

They enveloped me

in so much space that I fell

down a slippery silent slope

down to the bottom

where the trees bent

and ached towards each other

forming a sedate mouth

enveloping me in a whittled kiss

that wonderingly whispered

Ich liebe Dich,

Mein kleines Kind.
